 The article was a good read and there do seem to be family resemblances between utopian socialism and some in the OWS groups. However the part about Fourier is rather ridiculous. There is none of the detailed blueprints for future society associated with what is happening as far as I can glean from a long distance away!

i read the weekly standard every day so i read this when they posted
it. the entire framing was completely stupid but you're correct, the
writer does have a decent understanding of the underlying history.
