This is an extremely new phenomenon; the Damien Hirst sell-the-whole-show-at-Sotheby's trick is not indicative of the whole art world by any stretch. The gallery system, old as dirt by now, is still very much in control. Maybe that will change, but it's nowhere near the norm at this point.

Wojtek just wants to see pretty pictures. For those that are being made today, it'll take some time for concensus to build on which ones have staying power. In the mean time, this is like discussing who will make it to the Super Bowl with someone who lothes team sports: a total waste of time.
