American University Speech. Nuclear test-ban Treaty. Liquidation of Diem and decision to withdraw troops. Opening of reconciliation process with Fidel via Jean Daniel. Firing of CIA stalwarts.

enough?

^^^^^^^ CB: Yes , I have said this repeatedly here for years. "Soft-Communism" was a treasonous offense for John Birchers and similar types in this period. Making deal with the Soviets over Cuba was a sufficient offense for a coup-d'etat for the right-wing in the Military-Industrial-Complex.

The Mafia was given a minor role in Ruby's part. It helped to mask that it was an internal government coup.
