"Sex crime" doesn't tell us much. One out of three women is raped in her lifetime, but a very small number report it. And prosecution is very spotty. Violence against women and children is also common, and few go to jail.

I'm not sure what a "forcible" rape is (I mean, duh?), but there are plenty of federal sex crimes that are what I would hope you'd call violent.
