It doesn't/didn't matter what was the local "truth" about the Occupying Wall Street. Radicals should know, a priori, without empirical evidence from the present, that actions of any magnitude encourage thinking within their ranks. Theory's womb is practice. NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

CB: Practice is the test of theory. So, the theory exists before it's tested. It is nonsense and impossible to go into practice without theory. Theory is modified after test in theory. For example, Marx made a modification of the _Manifesto of the Communist Party_ after the Paris Commune. The relationship between theory and practice is reciprocal ,not one-sided , as you state it.
