What is "made in USA" exactly?. I once had an Acer LCD "Made in USA". When it died I opened it and its main component (the LCD display) was manufactured by CHIMEI, one of the world´s largest LCD manufacturers with HQ in Taiwan.

So what did the "Made in USA" stood for? the plastic casing? the power cable?
