I can't help but wonder if the top business schools were infiltrated by
Maoists in the late 60's, early '70s. (Remember David Stockman?) Looking at
the economic history of the last 30 years it looks like "revolutionary
defeatism" by economic means. Bring the imperialist power down by making it
functionally a colonial dependency. No I am not a conspiracy obsessed right
winger -- I just happen to be someone who until recently made a living with
his hands.
