Sheer silliness. Aside from the idea of OWS as a "party" (which I don't have the energy to touch), anarchists target corporations *all the time.* Who do you think those darn kids out blockading coal mines and bank foreclosures generally *are*?
If anything, my gripe is the mirror opposite of yours: that anarchists' disregard for the state sometimes leads them to ignore it and focus on less meaningful targets. It isn't like individual corporations can, under any circumstances, resolve the climate crisis, for example. And the corporate roles in any number of atrocities (like like wars and prisons) are too abstract for most organizing purposes.
I have to ask, Charles: How much do you actually follow anarchists and their activities?
