Like capitalists who are terrified of the mobs who want their shit, of mobs who will tear their flesh apart in anger if they ever have the chance, that fantasy is a projection. The cop's nightmare reveals that they are feel guilty and ashamed of themselves for dividing the world into us against them. I was briefly a cop, in the guise of a state park ranger (tree fuzz), armed with a 38 special, mace, and handcuffs.
My basic feeling when I put the gun on was shame. I figured that was because I was a socialist though. But perhaps it's more widespread. There were definitely a fair number of guys who acted like the gun added six inches to their dick.
