Libertarianism doesn't have much traction in Australia or NZ, unless you count blogs. The ACT party in New Zealand is probably the closest thing. It started as a libertarian breakaway from Labour in the 1990s and has had a few seats in Parliament ever since, thanks to proportional representation. But it survived by drifting away from libertarianism to the hard right, focusing on law and order and Maori-bashing.
