[WS:} Yup. Besides, their opposition to "big state" is a code word for their opposition to "big welfare." They have no problems with a big police, or military-industrial complex state keeping the unwashed masses under its boot.
^^^^^^^ CB: Agree. And "big welfare/big gov'ment" is codefor "lazy Black people" , i.e. coded white supremacy. "Tax and spend" LIberals and Democrats is code for "N-word loving white politicians". See Nixon's Southern Strategy. An extraordinary achievement of Reaganism has been to use this coded racism to somehow turn "Liberal" into a negative political epithet after Liberals were in the majority for decades after FDR. The monopoly media was a critical accomplice in this reactionary demagogy.
