Oh really? says who??. Id didn't see any signs from protesters demanding socialism or denouncing the evils of capitalism. What I saw were political demands about freedom and democracy. -----------------
Under certain circumstances demands for freedom and democracy lead to a "socialist" solution because these demands, albeit limited, will still not be countenanced by the bourgeois regime. So paradoxically, a people must take the next step. I'm not saying that's what has happened or will happen in Egypt or Tunisia; I'm just saying that the fact that an uprising does not explicitly demand socialism, doesn't mean that it won't happen.
