Excerpt :

[...] Bolt was being sued in the Federal Court by nine Aboriginal people including former ATSIC chairman Geoff Clark, academic Professor Larissa Behrendt, activist Pat Eatock, photographer Bindi Cole, author Anita Heiss, health worker Leeanne Enoch, native title expert Graham Atkinson, academic Wayne Atkinson, and lawyer Mark McMillan.

They alleged two articles written by Bolt for his employer, the Herald and Weekly Times, implied light-skinned people who identified as Aboriginal did so for personal gain. [...]

This is interesting. It Only a civil case, so unfortunately Bolt can't be imprisoned as right wing race haters should be.

Bolt is a right wing opinion whore, but the interesting thing is, I doubt a lot of the stuff he comes out with is even his genuine belief, but merely made-up stuff he spouts to promote himself. He has a TV show sponsored by the deranged right-wing millionairess Gina Reinhart (Who owns a big share of the TV station it is on) so I figure he tailors his rants to appeal to his wealthy sponsor(s).

In other words, as you often find, what this opinion whore is accusing others of (that aborigines identify as such solely for personal gain) is what he's guilty of himself. (Identifying as a right wing champion, solely for personal gain.) That is so common its isn't funny. (How many homophobes turn out to be repressed homosexuals.)

But championing racist views is crossing the line. He ought to be imprisoned until he recants. Sadly that is not on the table. Sorry, but my libertarian instincts draw the line at scum like him
