There are no such "correct" answers. A different answer might send the dialogue in a different direction. Why shouldn't that have been the educational practice in the Grove of Academus? You "participate" in a Platonic dialogue in the same way you analyze the bidding or play of a hand. Assume a different plausible bid or play and see how the rest of the bidding or play develops!
