This is pretty much without recent precedent. If you live in London you might want to respond to the call to gather outside the Ecuadorean Embassy to protest. In addition, if you live anywhere in the UK you might suggest the following to the BBC, the Guardian and any even mildly left leaning daily media whether Newspapers, Radiio or TV.
Someone as a stunt should contact a Chinese Ambassador and remind him or her of the case of Chen Guangcheng who took refuge in the U.S. embassy back April of this year. Ask him if the UK revokes the diplomatic status of the Ecuadorean Embassy and storms it to recover someone wanted in London if China will find it an interesting precedent to consider next time someone takes precedent in a U.S. or UK Embassy in China. Also some enterprizing reporter should contact Chen Guangcheng himself who is currently studying in NY university and get his opinion on this. I'd do it myself, but I think it deserves a wider audience than my 75 twitter followers.
