How serious was this "threat" anyway? This is a scare story which will doubtless send nervous liberals into the arms of their corporate protectors. Not that they need much prompting. 

Despite unhinged rightists and the cries of liberals convinced that a redneck dictatorship is perhaps months away, much of the country continues to diversify. Younger generations are more racially/sexually mixed. This is why older reactionaries hyperventilate to no avail. Their day has passed and they know it.
