No. At issue is the distinction between natural and juridical persons. The notorious Santa Clara decision - actually not even the decision, but a pre-trial ruling - declared corporations *natural* persons. This isn't some kind of logical puzzle, but a historical issue. Santa Clara is where the main issue arises.
