[lbo-talk] On the Zombie Apocalypse

Has anybody read any insightful commentary on the pop-culture
fascination with the zombie apocalypse?  It seems like it's been going
on for years.  Does it have any traction outside the Anglosphere?

I wonder if it's a safely silly way to indulge in survivalist fantasies.
