For those interested in technology, Envia is claiming their $150 per
kWh of capacity battery (much cheaper than conventional electric
vehicle batteries) which is also lighter than conventional EV
batteries will ship in 18 months.  If this is true, and that is a big
if, that is a major turaround in the competiveness of electric cars
with fossil fueled vehicles, and also significant for renewable
energy.
