In the realm of WTF and the truly bizzare:

^^^^^ CB: Well, white supremacist thinking or attitudes are not that bizarre in the sense of uncommon. The Tea Party and supporters almost all have this type of thinking ( profound ignorance of the importance of slavery, adherence to white supremacy, ) in one way or another. Left Obama haters don't like to admit it, but this is a mass, not fringe, phenomenon in America, and it underlay much of the anti-Obama trend in 2010 elections. These incidents are not just rare occurences that serve as weak excuses to support the Democratic Party as is the line on the ultra-left. Santorum just made a slip in this regard the other day. Ron Paul was way into kkk-style arguments. Their followings are bigger than fringe. Surely many of Palin, Bachmann and Perry's supporters have this mentality.

It is important to stop denying the level of white supremacy in America.
