Not relevant to this discussion, but in some other contexts "capitalist society" is quite different from cap mode of production. Not only contingency and all that, but the enormous part of life in any given cap society (e.g. u.s. now) that does not fit into those reproduction formulae in Vol.2. As a part of capitalism, this monitor in front of me ceased to exist when I bought it and it fell out of the cycle.
