I was wondering if anyone knows some good academic work on the choice
of invading Afghanistan by the Soviet Union,and/or the economic
problems that were tending towards collapse of the soviet union. Any
good works on money and banking in the soviet union would be
appreciated too (I've only read this one from the thirties
