'The Big Bang Theory' is presently a very popular sit-com. It presents anti-intellectualism in a comic context.
Seth MacFarlane's 'Family Guy' employed a viewing of 'The Big Bang Theory' as a penalty. (although Pewterschmidt ended up enjoying the penalty).
