 Sounds like a good plan to me. The U.S needs a third party. The U.S. citizens also needs to experience what austerity is like for real so that the experience will turn them against the Republican austerity mongers. The Democrats should look at the situation as long term investors. They will see a drop in their shares over the near term but in opposition they will soon gain as the U.S sinks back into recession..Then again the Democrats can be the shining knights rushing to save Wall Street from the pitchforks or whatever and the system will live on happily ever after or until the next crisis.
