among other things, he talks about the difference between OWS and OO,
arguing that OO is organizing at the neighborhood level, involving people
in campaigns, as opposed to OWS which pursued tactics that involved getting
the message in the media. He doesn't want to necessarily dismiss the
usefulness of OWS, indeed it's centrality, to OO. Indeed, he thinks that
getting out the message to a worldwide audience was key to the initial
mobilization of resources.
he also traces a history of radicalism that has contributed to current
militancy and organization which sustains a tradition of protest, even when
the struggle appears moribund.
