You're being far too kind to Americans. Decades of imperial privilege
have done terrible things to its citizens. Read the comments below the
story, and you'll see the much more common response is imperial
violence: a whole bunch of nasty and vicious swine froth at the mouth
about Obama being a socialist and that "I got mine, so you and your
government-subsidized kids should just go and die."
