Yeah. I don't know. Freud was good for getting the discussion going and for looking under the covers in a manner similar to Marx. They were both great materialists in their own way. It's just really hard to like Freud....the person behind the words.

I actually really liked Bowlby's stuff. Thought it was well designed and well thought through.

All the big guys are hard to swallow, aren't they? Freud and 
Marx are absolutely unacceptable, and Darwin is only acceptable 
when misunderstood.
