For later reference.

A primary implication of this post is that from k-12 through grad school courses which require 'skill' in writing must NOT be a required part of the curriculum. Courses in the humanities must, without exception, be voluntary. For testing purposes in any required course (K-12 through grad school) must offer an oral alternative to written tests.

This of course is an unachievable demand. It is therefore offered not as a programmatic "demand" but as a perspective on the present -- just as in _Capital_ socialism was briefly mentioned (under a different label) not as a programmatic demand but as a perspective on Capitalism.
