I was reminded of this exchange today when I happened to pass a vehicle from the 2010 "Asia to Gaza" convoy (http://www.asiatogaza.org). You can see how the phrasing's a little awkward ...

Anyway, Gaza's a place where one can see black Asians and blonde Asians living next door to each other. Come to think of it, it's a place where conventional Western ideas of ethnicity break down pretty quickly all around.
