This is perhaps the case--but with it also being the case that "outcomes" work themselves out and get known over a considerable period and that the "outcomes" are determined by multiple causes beyond those "slight differences"--the effect of slight differences is necessarily random. To vote for one or the other swindler based on your evaluation of those differences is as stupid as to base your summer-vacation plans on your evaluation of how many butterflies were opening their wings in Brazil yesterday.
