it's the same issue it's always been: the only truly secure computer (or account or car or house or credit card) is buried 6 ft underground, unplugged, hard drive rendered useless, blah blah. IOW, as Gar said before, the more secure anything it is, the more unusable (inconvenient to use) it becomes. It's always a balance we have to strike. The government and banks are under regulations to make their systems secure; hence, ever increasing security measures. With banks and financial outfits, its to demonstrate they've done all they can to maintain security.
