Depends on what you mean by "major" (which is a term not used so far here on this thread, except by you) but it's certainly not "the" major fraction, right?

CB: Ok it's my esoteric usage. I did say most or a major fraction. So, most would be more than half and I intend a major fraction as "big" but less than half. But there is ambiguity in my usage because "major" is the same root as "majority".
I may have missed your point , but my point is there are a whole lot of people, a mass of people , in prison who should not be in prison both because they are innocent and because what they did should not be a crime.
