[lbo-talk] Climate change and elections

People believe in climate change; they also recognize that nothing can be done about it, and it is less painful simply to pretend it doesn't exist. Because they already 'know' all there is to be known, 'education' or 'accurate news,' etc. are useless.

The continued existence of humanity as a species is possibly at stake; nothing will be done about it as long as commodity production remains the source of human relations and thus the source of power.
