[WS:] Exactly. IMHO, Obamacare does very little to control cost, but it makes it easier to shift that cost from inscos and employers on patients, as your statement implies. For example, my premiums at JHU will double next year plus they added $200 deductible - so I voted with my feet and switched to my wife's insurance plan offered by the local gov't.
Of course, this is all rearranging seats on the deck of the Titanic, as the US has the highest health care cost in the world http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_total_health_expenditure_(PPP)_per_capita
I am not sure, however, how to control this cost without breaking the backbone of the AMA, hospital and big pharma lobby.
