[WS:] Mea culpa. I should not have used it - it is too politically charged to be of any use other than invective.
As to the lack of nuance, I think I provided a bit of it in my reply to Marv. I had a visceral feelings about the issue, but it took me a while to to figure out what exactly I dislike about it.
