An interesting aside to this story, this hacker apparently hacked 
into the pentagon. Back around 1990 Julian Assange was prosecuted in 
Melbourne for a similar crime. The was a fascinating tele-movie 
broadcast here last week about it. It portrayed Assange as a hero 
basically. But somehow managed to portray the Australian Federal 
Police who hunted him as heros also. (It seems they were desperate to 
catch him before the CIA did, to save him from a worse fate.) ;-)

Artistic licence I guess.

It was a good movie. For me it was a pleasure reliving some of scenes 
of Melbourne squats and the lefty scene of the time.

Anyhow. according to the tele-movie, back then Julian Assange was 
convicted of hacking into the Pentagon computers and sentenced to 
good behaviour bond.
