Can anyone recommend a good link making sense of this race? They're running for NY State Senator in my district. My vague impression based on their endorsements and their positions on Charlie Rangel is that Espaillat is slightly more progressive, Linares more the machine politican. But there is so much overlap, and so much heat, I'm beginning to get confused and think it's just about personal rivalry and the loyalty chains that got shook when Espaillat almost took down Charlie Rangel. Any clarity would be greatly appreciated.
