I think that sounds like wishful thinking.
People simply can't accept that Walker won the re-call, and they are grabbing at straws for every possible explanation of why Walker prevailed (many simply  took it for granted that he would not).

Likely you are right, but the very thought of it seemed to be quite upsetting to the KPFA host ....

It seems very unlikely. Intentions to vote for 3rd parties tend toward 0 as November approaches.
