My ersatz sketch (no less, but no more ersatz as Woj's) was geographically non-specific. I was actually remembering a conversation I overheard on a plane once, by two construction worker/ small contractor types, who would splurge all of their earnings on their ORV collection and frequent expeditions to Vegas. (This was the late 90's, when times were good.) But what about riverboat gambling on the lower Mississippi and casinos on the redneck Riviera (much of them wiped out by Katrina)?
