This needs development or at least I would like to hear some. I am not one for silence if there is a problem---not with the book but with whatever experiences you and others have had.

I've seen a lot of what is implied, having been the fly on the wall in many disability movement meetings over turf, bringing this or that disability into the fold, working endlessly to get a consensus with stolid pains in the ass, etc. Consensus was essential precisely because simple majorities were often not a solution with such conflicting interests between diverse ranges of interest among disabilities.
