Via Billmon.  This is more rage inducing than normal. John Hopkins medical
has been helping coal companies win suits in black lung cases by diagnosing
black lung as TB or fungal infections. .

Where autopsies have been performed after death or biopsies during life
"not black lung"  diagnosis has usually been found to be wrong. So
basically John Hopkins is selling its reputation to coal companies to screw
sick miners.  I normally think of myself as pretty hardened, but this gets
to me.
