He tried to post an entire article to the list, and was thwarted by the (entirely reasonable, IMHO) list-enforced limit of ~30k of text. So he subverted the rule, and the intention, and broke it up into multiple postings, some of which were quoted differently than others, and missing all of the good formatting and embeded links that support Mark Ames' thesis better than pasted text can.
What he should have done is said "I think this Mark Ames piece is good, here's the intro paragraph, and if you want to read it for free (because it's behind NSFW's paywall), just google the title and you should find some open links that will take you to the piece" ...
