The NLRA/NLRB legalized unions -- and disastrously made them _subject_ to
law. There were advantages which don't need to be listed here. But we need
to pay more attention to that combination of "NEO" and "Liberalism"; the
liberalism which has been restored is essentially that of the age of
ucontrolled capitalism preceding WW1. All significant gains of labor during
those decades came from essentially illegal tactics.

That is where we are. And that, probably, is linked to the fact that the DP
has ceased to be even a weak and treacherous friend of working people and
has become the central political enemy.

The reality is austerity, endless war, and growing oppression.

Political thinking has to proceed in that context.
