"Restore" is the wrong word because under the state-capitalist Stalinist CPC (Maoist, Dengist, etc.), as under the state-capitalist Comintern-affiliated KMT (Chiang Kai-shek etc.) before them, China never ceased for a moment to be a capitalist regime under which the workers and peasants and intellectuals had and have absolutely no rights to political or syndical self-organization or self-expression and subject nations (Tibetans, Uigurs) were and are victims of the fiercest imperial exploitation and repression.
