This is one of those truisms that virtually everyone repeats, yet it is totally UNtrue. It is perfectly possible to prove a negative. That the Knight's Tour does not exist is definitively proven, as is the proposition that a highest possible prime number does not exist. It is far, far easier to prove just as conclusively that God does not exist.
