PLEASE ANNOUNCE

Radical lawyers Michael Smith and Abdeen Jabara interview Miko Peled, the author of "The General's Son", which airs on WBAI radio's Law & Disorder. The interview is especially relevant to the work of Jewish Voices for Peace and the growing number of Jews who are becoming more and more critical of the policies of the Israeli government.

The show will broadcast Monday morning in New York City at 9 a.m. (NY time) on WBAI, 99.5 FM and on the internet at http://www.WBAI.org and at http://lawanddisorder.org.

Miko Peled is the son of the famous Israeli General Matti Peled and the grandson of a signer of the Israeli declaration of independence. His father played a prominent role in the 1967 war which captured what then became the "occupied territories".

His father became a peace advocate warning what would happen to Israel if they retained the territories. Miko follows in his father's footsteps and is active in support of justice for the Palestinian people. He wrote an excellent book called "The General's Son" and speaks out forcefully in the United States and Europe.

He will be in New York City from April 7 to April 12 to publicize the launch of the second edition of his best-selling book.
