You'll have to wait a long time--at least until the Greek Kalends--to get an answer from establishment cosmologists. Meanwhile those gents and ladies will keep on looking for something--anything--that they can imagine to be evidence of a "graviton" or of a "gravity wave" or of some new "dimension" that will give them some inkling of "how that 'gravity' thing is supposed to *work*, anyway." But meanwhile they will still, for a while, have what they call "gravitational lensing" to explain away at least some of the observational evidence refuting their bigbang/expanding universe dogma.
