[lbo-talk] Varoufakis quits as FM

When millions are in the streets (in both the U.S. and the EU) demanding higher pensions for everyone at age 55; when millions are engaged in civil disobedience (both non-violent & otherwise); when at least some cops are refusing to fire or wield their truncheons; when Walmarts both in the U.S. and Europe are finding it difficult to keep customers penetrating the mass pickets surrounding the stores . . . .

Then and only then you can indulge in the luxury of merely dismissing The Enemy as stupid.

Good question. I'm full of theories of the decline of the U.S. ruling class - don't know about Europe though. ___________________________________ http://mailman.lbo-talk.org/mailman/listinfo/lbo-talk
