Has it really not occurred to you that Palestinian groups might see organizing and mobilizing their own people as a priority? It's a pretty sensible strategy for them. Solidarity is always nice, but it's rarely, if ever, won an actual fight. And during the Vietnam war, the most useful white activists were the GI movement, who mostly - and understandably - didn't want to get their asses shot.
