What’s worse, in this current piece, Klare tells us that it is a “addiction” to oil that is the problem. And Klare, along with Bill McKibben, stresses the power of the fossil fuel industry, those meanies, rather than the failure of the rest of us to do something political about this.
Finally, green energy is a technological solution to climate change when we need a political one. We can’t afford to supply clean technology to the world without a drastic income redistribution both within the North and between North and South.
I’m tired of reading liberal analysis which only serves to weaken the public’s potential understanding of what is going on.
